MLK National Parade & Battle Of The Bands – You will want to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day every year once you get a taste of the MLK National Parade in St. Pete.  This parade is the nation’s longest-running parade and runs from Tropicana Field to Vinoy Park.  Including a Battle of the Bands and Drum Line Extravaganza, this parade is a must-see.

Discover Caladesi Island 10 Mile Trail Run and 5K Clearwater Beach – The course will be out & back heading north from PIER 60 along Clearwater Beach to Caladesi Island, through trails on Caladesi Island & back, returning along the beach to PIER 60. Packet Pick Up is race day starting at 6:00 AM at Clearwater Beach Pier 60 Park. Race start is 7:30 AM (rain or shine). 5K Clearwater Beach Run: The course will start from Pier 60 run north from Pier 60 along Clearwater Beach for 1.55 miles to the aid station then returning along beach to Pier 60. Packet Pick Up is race day starting at 6:00 AM at Clearwater Beach Pier 60 Park. Race start is 7:30 AM (rain or shine). April 3rd – Traveling with the kiddos?  Every Tuesday in April, beginning April 3rd, is $10 Tuesday at Boing! FunCenter!  Jump on a giant trampoline in this trampoline center in Tampa, Florida.

Iron Girl Clearwater – The Iron Girl Clearwater Event will feature a two-day wellness festival held at Coachman Park in Clearwater. Even if you are not planning to race, many of the activities are free and open to the public. Join us for a kids race, yoga, music, shopping and more!

4th Annual Beer & Burger Throwdown – The Beer & Burger Throwdown returns for it’s 4th year in Safety Harbor. This event features free samples from local craft brewers and many of the best burger restaurants and burger food trucks all in the same place. There is Live Music all day, competitions, outdoor games, kids zone, and more. Proceeds benefit the Safety Harbor Chamber and Chi Chi Rodriguez Youth Foundation.

BBQ, June 8th – 10th – The Baddest BBQ on the Bone Fishing Slam & BBQ Festival is a 3-day event which includes a fishing tournament for both kids and adults, live music, vendors, and a BBQ festival, to start!  There’s a whole lot more to see as well, and if you are vacationing in Pinellas County in June this is a must-stop.

Clearwater Beach Chalk Art Festival – The Clearwater Beach Chamber of Commerce proudly presents the Clearwater Beach Chalk Art Festival! This fun and FREE event has been made possible through the collaboration of the Beach Chamber’s Chalk Art Festival Committee & community minded art lovers alike. For three days, over 40 talented chalk artists will transform the sidewalks of BeachWalk on South Clearwater Beach into spectacular larger-than-life-canvases, allowing the public to get a rare glimpse into the way art is produced in all stages of progress. Each year, the public has the opportunity to choose their favorite piece of artwork by voting for the “People’s Choice Award,” which is announced by Twelve Noon on the third and last day of the event.

Lights In The Garden – Holiday Lights in the Garden is the holiday event to look forward to in Largo!

Take in more than 750,000 lights as the Florida Botanical Gardens in Largo are magically transformed into a holiday paradise for visitors to stroll through. The annual event, which asks for a small donation, runs through Dec. 31.
